Special Activities:

Weekend Away

The youth weekend (Genesis and Raze) away has now finished.  It was a very good weekend, with lots of time for bible teaching as well as fun and games. A number of young people have made confessions of faith, so please continue to pray for them and the youth leaders.

Monthly Prayer Meeting

There will be a change to the normal monthly prayer meeting and we will all meet from 8:30 am to 9:30am in the church. This will hopefully encourage more people to come and hopefully encourage those who feel less confident in praying out loud in a smaller group.

Harvest Breakfast

Our annual harvest breakfast will take place this Sunday 2nd October instead of the usual Holy Communion service. It will start at 9:30am and will be in aid of Tearfund this year.

Exodus

As it’s the first sunday in the month, exodus will be on at 8pm on Sunday 2nd October

Dropaccino

Dropaccino is an informal cafe for young people which is going to be set up in the church in the near future. It’ll be a great opportunity to reach out to those in the 16-25 age group. The costs of setting up Dropacino are fairly high, due to the fact it needs to be perceived as a proper cafe (not just a church hall with a few tables and chairs). Therefore it would be greatly appreciated for anyone who feels the are able to give a donation towards the set-up. Marked envelopes are provided at the back/side of the church.
