“Holiday club is good because we learn about God and do games and craft.” – Timothy, aged 9

“Holiday club is the palce to be joining in with new friends to see. Lots of brilliant games to play, doing arts and crafts every day. Bible stories which help us learn, questions for each team as they take it in turn. Exciting songs with actions, it is better than learning boring fractions. As everybody shouts and sings, Gary suddenly breaks his strings. [Hole] Punches make points, earn them is what you do; which team will win, red or blue?” – Anais, aged 9

“In holiday club we have so much fun, there’s lots of crafts for everyone. Exciting stories from the Bible each day, songs to sing on his guitar Gary will play. Get [hole] punches on your badge and points for your team, the scores go up and we cheer and scream.” – Theo, aged 7

“Holiday Club is here, it’s August time,
With fun and games, rain or shine.
The character this year is Idaho Joe,
He’s Indiana Jones’ brother you know.
They give us a verse to learn, their not hard,
And when we get them right they [hole] punch our card .
We learn about God, have stories and craft,
But most of all we have a good laugh.
Gary plays the guitar and we all sing,
But he went a bit mad and broke a string.
I’ve been coming since I was four to learn about heaven,
I won’t be able to come anymore because I’m eleven.
Every year is better than the rest,
Everybody is wonderful, simply the best.” – Lois, aged 11
