Dropaccino

Dropaccino is an informal cafe for young people which is going to be set up in the church in the near future. It’ll be a great opportunity to reach out to those in the 16-25 age group. The costs of setting up Dropacino are fairly high, due to the fact it needs to be perceived as a proper cafe (not just a church hall with a few tables and chairs). Therefore it would be greatly appreciated for anyone who feels the are able to give a donation towards the set-up. Marked envelopes are provided at the back/side of the church.

Church around the World – 11.12.11

Peter and Liz Phipps who were with us last Sunday set off for India on the 4 January to visit the Bible School near Cochin, Kerala State on the West coast of South India. Rejoy is the principal and the focus of the School is on Bible teaching, leadership training and outreach experience. Peter will be teaching for 3 hours every day from Monday to Friday. His subjects are the books of Hebrews and James. Liz will be helping Rejoy’s wife Mini in personal work with the ladies. They would appreciate prayer for their travel, teaching and interaction with the students. They return to the UK on the 21 January.
